Ok, i did a mistake… these ads aren’t for Italy Football Team, sponsored by Puma, but only for italian football players sponsored by Nike. Ouch!

Hi:
I’m from Mexico City, and i love this kind of ads. This is really really great, because each poster shows special characterisrics of the handsome italina players.

Thanks for inspiration guys, you rocks!!!

Yeah, i think is inspirated at 20’s advertising. Agency is Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, but creativity is made by italian guys!

Great Nike Italy Print Ads Featuring World Cup Winners - The Offside - The Offside said,

[...] While we’re still kind of nonplussed by the Nike commercial featuring everyone’s favorite headbutt target, we do dig the series of print ads that Nike has put out to celebrate some of its sponsored players from Italy’s World Cup winning team. The ads are done in the style of classic Italian advertising posters of the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s. They also happen to be a pretty clever way for Nike to capitalize on the Puma-sponsored Azzurri’s success. [...]

Yes!

Where can they be purchased?
Nike needs to Step Up.
They will be or are to be in stores in Italy - but this is grossly unfair to us,
I cannot easily scarf them off the walls of a store in Italy - as if the stores
and the guys working there would let them go anyway!!

¡Italia! - Planeta Especial Mundial de Fútbol Tu Planeta Especial Mundial de Fútbol. said,

September 26, 2007 @ 2:50 pm

[...] ¡Italia! [...]
