The story says that in 1963 that Mr. Lamborghini, tractor maker since 1948, was discussing with his friend Mr. Ferrari about a problem with the gearbox of the new Ferrari’s car. Mr. Ferrari said: “Please continue to make tractors, and let me to make sport cars”…
As response, Mr. Lamborghini founded “Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini SpA”.
