Does this mean advertising agencies like Ogilvy are feeling guilty for their (our - yes I'm in advertising) long past of manipulative advertising campaigns? I wonder what they could do for the Tobacco Industry... I can see the Marlboro man now shooting up cigarette machines with his Winchester and having a puff of hand rolled mother nature. I still prefer Irish Spring.

Dove has rewritten the book on reverse psychology in advertising. Its so brilliant that even when its pointed out, most people still don't see it.

Well, as stated before: Evolution was better. Nonetheless it's a pretty good campaign and a really good ad. Not as frightening as evolution, but impressive nonetheless.

Well I think it doesnt make sense to discuss here how believable an ad is. Advertising has a lot to do with bending the truth. At least it makes Dove a believable brand

5* from me :)

At the end it says... Talk to your Daughter before the beauty industry does... It should say talk your children...

This imagery affects males too and not in a good or healthy way...

Nice idea but yeah, never ever believe in the shit the Ad industry feeds you, deep down it's run by the same people.
They're hypocritical at best and their main interest is and will always be YOUR MONEY...

The solution? think by yourself, don't let them do it for you.
