WWF: Paper Dispenser

wwfpaperdispenser.jpg

To make people realize that saving the planet starts with them saving paper, we took a standard paper dispenser and made a simple modification with green foil and the silhouette of South America. This allowed us to prove that the survival of the forest is directly connected to what people consume.

Awesome design. Although, I think they should put some sort of green plexiglass in the cutout of South America. That way the consumer won’t have to buy green napkins to get the desired effect. Dyed paper towels affect the environment too.

In response to some of the other bloggers , PEOPLE this public service announcement is NOT selling a south-america cut out paper dispenser!!!
that totally contradicts everything this message is saying!!!

They are trying to convey a message with the analogy
that by using paper needlessly
just as the paper towels in a dispenser decrease
as do forests in south america decrease

The green paper represents the amount of forest in south america
and you see how it declines over time.

Anyway… the message is by conserving paper, you conserve forests

katy said,

this message is saying** that by conserving paper,,you ultimately are conserving forests***
