Mondo Pasta: Noodleslurper

mondop1.jpg

To get Mondo Pasta on everyone’s mind, we chose the harbor, the most frequented place in Hamburg. We put huge posters of slurping faces, turning the ropes into 20 foot noodles. “Mondo Pasta, so you can’t let go”

This is great piece of ambient media, but I wonder if this will reach it’s indented demographic; how many shipyard workers will rave about spaghetti & noodles?

But I can still see this being employed in the urban sprawl; how about the rope dividers used when people are queuing in line, or telephone wires etc - hell anything long and stringy, I’d love to see this in my city!

(Via) [...]

davey & dixit.. if you enlarge the graphic, it states that they were put on ships in the Hamburg harbor, which they claim to be “the most frequented place in Hamburg”.

Davey, these appear to be historic ships permanently moored in a tourist area.
Very clever.
