Diesel: Live Fast

crazy that instead of questioning it, we praise the speed of today’s world. and even make it fashionable.

The “Global Warming Ready” campaign MarcelParis did was brilliant….this seems half-baked. And is that a lens-flare? Really? That’s not even ironically funny, it’s just bad taste.

Nako, it isn’t praise. It’s supposed to be ironic….Just like “Global Warming Ready”. Diesel has had a long history of these sort of cheeky campaigns. 70′s punk style Protestors championing Marrying Young and the 3 Day Weekend. But this campaign isn’t done very well.

well they are living fast and getting themselves in stupid situations, almost hit by a car, smeared face, no attention to what they’re doing. so it’s like….why not slow down a bit? that’s how it’s being cheeky. i don’t think it’s ironic.
