Wonderbra: Yellow Safety line

wonderbrasafetyline.jpg

This ambient idea plays on the yellow safety line at above-the-ground MRT stations, wich tells people how far from the track they need to stand to be safe. A second yellow line was used to demonstrate that, with the bust-enhancing effects of Wonderbra, those who use the product need to be even farther back.

Nice, but overdone

I dont feel like the average consumer would fully understand the concept behind this idea. To me a yellow safety line says just that–safety. I feel people would wonder to themselves why wonderbra was advertising safety… so to me this does not deliver on the brand promise or message.

WonderBra brings your chest together and up, not out. How could a bra stretch your chest outwards? there is no reason why a WonderBra ad should be featured on this site. Especially this one.

Some commenters obviously need to wear a WonderHumor…

Great campaign.

to each his own Thibaut. I prefer my creative to be a little challenging to achieve and rewarding to the viewer. But, hey, if you like easy crap, then who am I to say you have no standards?

I tend to agree with Thibaut. I think the message is carried in an understandable and somehow funny way, all this thanks only to a yellow adhesive band. I wouldn’t call that “easy crap”, and can hardly see how sticking to the technicalities of WonderBra could make this campaign more “challenging to achieve and rewarding to the viewer”…

And finally, I really don’t understand why a WonderBra campaign shouldn’t be featured on this site. After all, even Mc Donalds or Coca Cola are, and their campaigns are not always worth the honor…
