I have been looking at this ad now for, what 10/15 minutes.
Sorry, I just don't get it.

Now i'm sure, with a bit of explanation I would, but doesn't that miss the point?

A bit too clever?

it's a shame to have wasted a chance to raise some money out of it. what's that ad made for? (try to) win an award or helping people? if it's the second case, what should I do? a donaytion? call a toll free number, make a bank transfer, by post, on a site? and how do you push me to do it? oh, maybe you wanted to build an opinion in people's minds? useless, make them do something.

the bloated stomach is caused by hunger. Probably the guys should have spend more time in research than at being clever. I believe in advertising. And the fact it is a really and absolutely meaningless profession.

I like the idea of this ad, but the problem was when I first saw this, I thought it was supposed to be a pregnant woman. I can think of two reasons why the agency might have chosen the round belly: the obvious beer-belly reference to over-indulgence, but perhaps a reference also to the fact that so many pictures of starving people (particularily children) have pictures of them with disturbingly bloated stomachs.

Problem is, even while thinking of those reasons now, I didn't see them when I first looked at the ad.
