Yet another cool antiolimpic advertising. This one reminds me an idea of soccer playing tibetan player standing in front of the ‘wall’ of chinese soccer players holding guns…

I loved this ad when I first saw it. A wonderful interplay between the authority of the starter with his pistol and athlete poised to run, there are so many threads that could be woven out of this ad.

I don’t like the copy though. “World record executions” is a bit cheap and doesnt do the subtlelty of the rest of the ad any favours.

I don’t know if the advertiser know the real status in China, or just imagined, Do such horror things really happened? It distorted and hurt people and athletes in China.

Does anybody read copy anymore? Of course not.

It’s a well-executed concept, but the headline (”Stop the World Record of Executions”) is only slightly more coherent than the second paragraph, which isn’t even close to a complete thought.

Who proofed this?

I like this, but I have a question..

Who is doing all of this photo work for DDB? Do they ONLY take photos when the sun is behind a massive storm cloud and it is about to start hailing?
