BMW 7 series: Launch

A sand glass 12 meter high and 8 meter wide. Big enough to hide a car in it and that’s exactly what BMW did for the countdown of the launch of the new BMW 7 series. The sand glass is filled with silver balls which pass through and uncover the new BMW.

Super lux car + hour glass = huh? Just because you have to do more interesting things to get attention in the post-advertising age doesn’t mean that you have license to make no sense.

Really good Operation !!
but the thing is, i prefer when the product is released in one second. So this musn’t be as good as a real reveal ….. the idea is good however ;)

When I saw this I though the giant thing would be installed in the middle of the city, slowly revealing the product…That way I think it would’ve made much more sense

Why’d you stop posting blogs? I loved the activity, but now … nothing. Holyday? What?

I love it. But I wonder: is it effective? How many people will you reach, and how many through a ‘normal’ ad?
