Sexy campaign

Let me tell I find this campaign quite neocon. I can see the drug capo as a parasite, but the prisoner or the whore are simple people who may have commited an error (or may have not had the possibility of not to commit it) or that simply like what they do. And even the drug dealer is a person, not a parasite.

Advertising talks about people’s thoughts in a country, because it needs to fit in it’s target, and this campaign doesn’t say much about the people from Ecuador’s ideas. It’s nasty and it remembers me an anecdote about rubbish advertising: In Spain, where I live, with Franco’s dictatorship there appeared a campaign that claimed Los rojos no llevan sombrero. This literally means communists don’t wear hats and it was part of the hat-makers guild strategy to make every spaniard wear a hat in a country were communist people were heavily prosecuted.

Accurate

Drug dealers are parasites they suck money out of people with no regard for the mental or physical well being. Drug users don’t see this at all (because they are on drugs) which make them pawns in the illegal economy that destroys lives.

I don’t understand why you guys trying to “analysing” mentaly and psychologicaly this campaign….This is just BAD advertising, It do not deserve such discussion. Why this is bad? Let’s figure out the “creative” work on it :
“Let’s do a scam- anti parasite for horse is fun – How are the kind of people known as parasite? – let’s put them on a horse – done”.
It a scam. But a really bad one. The one that smell scam from far.
