Tim Burton, the Exhibition, was opening at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), in Melbourne. The landmark exhibition shows Burton’s creative vision and process from his earliest work to the spectacular Alice in Wonderful. To drum-up some extra publicity ACMI put on free carriage rides from the city centre to the exhibition, only with a twist.

This will be effective among college students. This advertising stunt for Mars aims to make the target audience to experience the brand in a new way. Well, its interactive kind of advertising. The campaign- ‘Messages from Mars’ – provides consumers with a set of stickers featuring the complete alphabet in Mars typography, including punctuation marks. Thus the bar actually became a platform for communication where people can create their own messages and can give it to friends. Good one for lovers. Others won’t waste much time over it, I think.

To launch Season 3 of the HBO series True Blood, DRAFTFCB Auckland created the ‘I Am Vampire’ website. We invited fans of the show to visit, register themselves as vampires and tell their story. We then created a full-page press ad, listed all the names of our registered vampires and wrote customised birth/death notices for them. Each of the names were actual fans -or freshly turned fang bangers- who, much to their delight, discovered their sinister new identity in the national newspaper.

Rather than a conventional business card to offer the makeup services to the customer, it was created a special stamp that simulates a lipstick mark. The stamp may be applied to any material, such as napkins, paper sheets, tissues etc.
