Bezeqint: Bore the web

If the internet was boring, then less people would surf it, and people would be able to enjoy better performance from their broadband. That was the absurd idea in our “bore the internet campaign” for “Bezeq International”, Israel’s leading internet service provider, which has a separate broadband. By inviting the surfers to bore the web, and creating the most boring internet content, we were able to divert the conversation in the ISP market from slow VS fast to busy VS free and explain the need for a separate internet broadband

Budweiser: Poolball

Ogilvy Argentina developed an innovative action for Budweiser associated to the growth of a new and very singular sport: “Poolball”, an idea that links two great passions of men, nightlife and soccer.
A giant pool table over 7×3 meters long, with 15 redesigned soccer balls. Two teams of 2 friends standing on top of this huge table playing with the same pool rules. The difference is in “Poolball” you use your feet to shoot and not the club.
“Poolball” was presented in an exclusive event where over 600 people enjoyed and had fun with this new sport. There were tunnels, foot games and high precision shots together with good music, mirror balls, women and the most sold beer in the world, Budweiser. Fox Sports and ESPN broadcasted live. Poolball is now touring around bars and pubs of Buenos Aires.

Volkswagen: Side Assist Office

Surf at work without being caught out: with Volkswagen Side Assist Office. Side Assist is a Volkswagen assistance system, that warns the driver if a vehicle is approaching from behind. Grabarz & Partner Webeagentur developed an online tool, that lets people experience the assistance system: Side Assist Office. When an employee is surfing at work, Side Assist Office scans the area behind his back with the webcam. If his boss suddenly shows up behind him, a business chart appears on the screen that makes him look busy. By doing so, Volkswagen protects his drivers not only on the road â but also in the office.

Wish for Egypt: Egypt after the revolution

We recently worked on a social initiative to help Egypt after the revolution. The idea was simple. We basically wanted to connect the large population of Egyptians who are not connected online to those who are, in order to make their voices and wishes heard by the entire population. We felt this was important as there is a large disconnect among the people, post-revolution. And there is a need to renew dialogue among every section of the population.

The Musicians’ Union: Don Letts, Jacky Thomas, Abram Wilson,

“I don’t read music. Or contracts, unfortunately. – I’m a DJ, producer and film director. I’m not an accountant, lawyer or politician. That’s why I joined the Musicians’ Union. They’re great at helping with all that business stuff. Join us at theMU.org” – Don Letts.”

“They want to use your music for a cat food commercial. How much is your musical integrity worth? – Ask the Musicians’ Union. They can help out with all kinds of business and legal advice. But only if you’re a member. Join us at the MU.org” – Jacky Thomas, The Brodsky Quartet.”

“There are times when it’s good to improvise. Career planning isn’t one of them. – Sometimes I don’t even know where I’ll be by the end of the tune, let alone in 5 or 25 years time. So it’s good to know the MU can help with advice for my future. You can join us at the MU.org” – Abram Wilson, jazz musician.”

“Free public liability insurance. Because some musicians can be a bit of a liability. – Trust me. A lot can go wrong at a gig. Especially ours. So it’s reassuring to know that I get free public liability insurance with my Musicians’ Union membership. Join us at theMU.org” – Mark Greenway, Napalm Death.”

Lidl Supermarkets: First Class for All

“First Class for All” is an idea developed to show that quality and low prices can live together. To prove that, a first class meal was served to every single passenger on an airplane for the first time in a commercial flight. No matter the seat class. There wasn’t a single passenger, first class or not, that didn’t feel delighted with his meal.
