<p>Where do billboards go when they die? Well, in this case, they went into the hands and onto the shoulders of everyday people. On September 25th 2010, the Cruze launched with one of the biggest media buys in Chevrolet Canada’s history. From billboards and transit shelters, to bus wraps and station dominations, the urban landscape was wallpapered with Cruze ads. But rather than just taking the materials down and shipping them to landfills, we wanted them to live on in a meaningful way. So we collected all the outdoor vinyl, combined it with recycled seatbelts and bicycle inner tubes, then created messenger bags, laptop sleeves, plus oversize totes. The result? Hundreds of highly functional bags made from 100% locally sourced, upcycled materials. But this is just the beginning. <p>To communicate the message, we made posters out of these materials: In hospital we took blood samples of our copywriter for the first billboard. The blood was pumped through little tubes on the poster that gave the type. For the second one we rented a mobile sauna, in which our designers collected their sweat. The sweat was then sprayed on a poster out of black fabric. The salt made the type. With 3 kilograms of raw onions we produced enough tears for the third billboard. We fixed the tears with tissues on the billboard. </p>

<p>In the Netherlands, approximately 7,000 accidents involving household chemicals occur each year. In most cases, the victims are children under the age of 5. By showing a kitchen cabinet through the eyes of a child, we allowed parents to see the potential danger of their everyday household products. The lenticular technique enabled the viewer to switch between a real world view and that of a child. The Consumer Safety Institute strives to continually increase the safety of all citizens, young and old, by reducing accident-related injuries. The strength of the organisation lies in its ability to educate people in both accident-related information and accident prevention. In doing so, they consider more than just figures; behaviour, the surrounding environment and technology are also taken into account. This combined knowledge is used to create extremely effective campaigns. </p>

<p>For the launch for National Geographic and UPC, we built a unique, large scale way of immersing people in some of the most amazing scenes from National Geographic&#8217;s extensive archive. It allowed us to place people right inside the content, allowing people to see themselves next to the content. In short we built 5 broadcast quality 3D scenes of: leopards, astronaut, dolphin, storms and dinosaurs. We had a huge reaction when launched last week, with tens of thousands of people interacting and 1000s more sharing pics and vids on Facebook. The event is currently running in Hungary, with three 5 day deployments.</p>

<p>Eilat is the leading holiday destination in Israel, drawing hundreds of thousands of people trom all around the country to fly there for vacation. When lsrair decided to come out with a special price for Eilat residents @,<br />
we understood that this special price mustn’t anger those who reached the city by flight and paid full price. So we created a campaign where only Eilat residents could see the price. To do so, we handed out tens of thousands pairs of special glasses to every house in the city, thus generated a campaign that only Eilat’s residents could see its message.</p>
